I'm not clear when I got my hands on my first camera but I do remember pouring over National Geographic magazines and declaring that I wanted to be a NatGeo photographer "when I grew up." I guess I really started to document people in Junior High School, borrowing a friend's Canon AE1 SLR camera with a 35mm lens, the photos published in the yearbook. My photo style has changed very little since. I definitely lean towards a documentary style of capturing people.
